Homework Assignment 9/21/19

Watch the Murray film. Choose 20 defensive possessions, whether you were involved in the possession or not. Choose 10 that you would grade as a Pass and 10 that you would grade as a  Fail, regardless of the outcome, for there were some possessions where we played good defense and they scored, and other times we got a stop despite not defending well. Instead of the outcome, focus on how well we performed. Choose some possessions from each half. Write it on a lined sheet of paper, starting with the time on the film the possession occurs, followed by the grade and the description:
0:31 - Pass. The on-ball defender was parallel and got beat, but we rotated well defensively and took a charge.
1:08 - Fail. Only two defenders ran back at a dead sprint to try to prevent a break-away layup.
2:19 - Fail. Even though we got the defensive rebound, we got back poorly, weren't matched up, and the helpside didn't jump to the ball.
